Make The Time
A couple of weeks ago, on a very cold and snowy morning, I made a stop at the bank. As I approached my parking space I noticed a woman just sitting in her car. I could not help, but hear the music coming from her car which got my attention. As I looked over I could see her just kind of rocking back, and forth. Although her window was wet from the snow, I also noticed that she appeared to be crying. As not to stare, I exited my car to go into the bank. As I was leaving the bank , the woman was getting out of her car. I could hear the Holy Spirit nudging me to speak to the woman. In obedience to the Holy Spirit, I said hello to the woman. She softly replied hello, and began to tell me that she was just sitting in her car listening to the words in Michael Jackson’s song,” You Are Not Alone”.. The woman then proceeded to tell me all that she had gone through, in a matter of months. She stated that, she lost her job, her father died, and her fiancée walked out on her for another woman. She continued to say that she just could not understand why, this was happening to her. The Holy Spirit gave me the words to say to her. As the conversation continued, I boldly asked the woman if she were saved. She answered “Yes!’ I encouraged her in the word, to know that when you are a threat to the enemy he will test you. I also reminded her that good things really do work together for good those who love the Lord!. Well, Sheila and I exchanged phone numbers, and now I have another sister in Christ. So I admonish the body of Christ, to Make the time.

Hey Mary,
When the woman told you she was listening to Michael Jackson's song it reminded me that God can use anyone at anytime for any reason and you and Michael Jackson confirmed that.

Mary, thanks for sharing your experience. So many people report that they do not hear the Holy Spirit or God (one and the same) speaking to them. Your testimony may help someone hear, accept and respond to the urgings they feel in their spirit.

Mary, thanks be to God for your obedience. You are truly an example of Christian chacter. Thank you for sharing this with us and may I be more focused and to listen when God is speaking to me. May we all open our hearts and our ears because we never know when someone is in need.
